The ''Christina Nilsson'' was a schooner that sank in Lake Michigan off the coast of Baileys Harbor, Wisconsin. On October 23, 1884, the ''Nilsson'' cleared Escanaba, Michigan en route to Chicago, Illinois carrying pig iron.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Final Voyage page 1 )〕 When a blizzard hit the area, the captain attempted to make port at Baileys Harbor.
